European Dialogue for Sustainable Cities - "Eco-innovation"
European Dialogue for Sustainable Cities is a brand new dialogue series by Lahti – European Green Capital 2021. The talk show features thrilling debates on European cities’ environmental solutions, innovations, and cooperation models amid an ecological crisis and corona pandemic.
The show features experts from cities, researchers, companies, NGOs, and students. Each episode features a previous winner of the European Green Capital Award.
The theme of the second episode is ”Eco-innovation” and we welcome Stockholm, the first European Green Capital from 2010, to the show!

A clean, productive and shared Baltic Sea – regional and local actions for sustainable future
A sustainable future for the Baltic Sea requires active actions. Participate in the international online seminar organized by the Baltic Sea Challenge on 11 February 10.00–15.00 EET! The seminar will highlight the Agenda 2030 goals in the protection of the Baltic Sea.
The seminar will be opened by the Mayor of the City of Turku Minna Arve. We will also hear a greeting from the City of Helsinki's Deputy Mayor Anni Sinnemäki. The program includes two keynote lectures, four parallel sessions, and a workshop.

EUSBSR Workshop on reducing security risks related to the climate change
The workshop will focus on the climate change related security risks and on supporting the integration of the climate aspects into the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region after 2020. The workshop will be organized on 12 October 2020 11.00–13.40 CET by the Council of the Baltic Sea States and UBC Sustainable Cities Commission.

The iWater project Final Conference will be held on 7-8 May 2018 in Riga, Latvia.
The conference will focus on main results and achievements of the project:
stormwater planning tools developed and adopted by partner cities;
sustainable stormwater solutions and pilot sites demonstrations;
Integrated Stormwater Management Strategies and Guidelines;
Green Area Factor Tool adapted for stormwater management planning.
