Events related to topic water

The conference takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden on 12 – 14 June 2017.

Linnaeus Eco-Tech conference that is held in Kalmar (Sweden) on 21-23 November 2016 celebrates a Jubilee this year. The conference occurring for the 10th time promotes sustainability across the Baltic Sea and focuses on developing technologies for waste and wastewater treatment and environmental remediation. The IWAMA project run by the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission will have its own session on the conference.

Investing in competitive blue growth - smart and sustainable solutions European Maritime Day is the annual meeting point for Europe’s maritime community to network, discuss, and forge joint action. Its ninth edition will take place in Turku, Finland with a stimulating conference on 18-19 May 2016 and an attractive lineup of activities for the general public on 20-22 May 2016.

This one day seminar is looking for concrete opportunities to save the Baltic Sea by reducing nutrient loading from scattered settlements and waste water treatment sludge management. It brings together implementers with policy makers and representatives of funding instruments around the Baltic Sea region. The seminar is free of charge and meant for anyone interested in project development and possibilities for regional cooperation.

PA NUTRI panel discussion with the main topic of involvement of Belarus in PA NUTRI flagship projects and next steps for future cooperation. Part of Turku Baltic Sea Days, one of the "TALK ABOUT THE WATER: HOW TO SAVE THE SEA?" -events organized by the Baltic Sea Challenge network.

Workshop will include short presentations on challenges in municipal wastewater treatment related to capacity development of operators, energy efficiency and sludge handling.

Final conference of the PRESTO project will take place on 11th February 2014 in Helsinki, Finland. The event is dedicated to the topic “Save the Sea – Investing in Waste Water Management in Belarus”.
