This year's midterm conference of HUPMOBILE was supposed to be held in Hamburg. However, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we cannot organize it as a face-to-face conference. Instead, we are organizing two short virtual events on different days discussing the future of mobility in the Baltic Sea Region cities. During these two days, we will focus on the concept of Fusion Mobility and whether COVID-19 has an impact on the development of sustainable mobility. Both webinars are open for everyone and free of charge.

Lisbon was chosen to host the 5th edition of the URBAN FUTURE Global Conference (UFGC), Europe’s largest event for sustainable cities, that will bring together around 3,000 decision makers and professionals from over 60 countries from 1st to 3rd April 2020.  This conference, which is considered to be a multidisciplinary urban event, has brought together, over the past four editions, people willing to be drivers of sustainable change in the cities where they live, creating synergies for the development of concrete projects.

CIVITAS ECCENTRIC workshop: How can we increase safety for unprotected road users?

Policymakers and experts are invited to a workshop focusing on how to increase safety for unprotected road users using simple and low-cost methods. The workshop is hosted by the City of Stockholm and partners of the EU project CIVITAS ECCENTRIC, in which Stockholm works with the cities of Madrid (Spain), Munich (Germany), Ruse (Bulgaria)and Turku (Finland) to demonstrate actions supporting safe walking and cycling and a range of other mobility solutions.
