This webinar is coming in preparations to the joint Commission meeting of the UBC Planning and Sustainable Cities Commissions coming in Turku on 13-15 September 2023. We will look into the local approaches to the revitalisation of urban space from the holistic perspective ensuring urban planning done sustainably. The webinar will provide a basis for the discussions for the participants of the Commission meeting while also serving as a self-standing informational event, so everyone is welcome to join.

The UBC TALKS webinar will feature 4 city cases: Turku, Gdynia, Umeå and Riga. We will look into the waterfront areas of cities, but also into general approaches to the revitalisation and making urban space attractive for citizens.
