The event will focus on Gdańsk harbour and riverside areas as case studies, allowing creative flow and exchange of experiences among representatives of different UBC cities. The development strategy of Gdańsk encourages seeking new solutions and implementing adaptive measures to make public spaces more green, inclusive and accessible. At the joint seminar, we will get to plan such spaces together – as a group of sustainability experts, city planners, and architects.

The UBC TALKS webinar on 26 March will focus on the topic of mapping and monitoring PFAS in cities. The dialogue will be organised with the experts in EMPEREST project who will introduce PFAS risks and highlight local and regional contexts to mapping hotspots and organising a regional methodology for monitoring and assessment. The event will be joined by the coordinator of EUSBSR PA Hazards to highlight the strategic goals and contexts of the topic.
