Sustainable transformation for resilient coastal city
The event will focus on Gdańsk harbour and riverside areas as case studies, allowing creative flow and exchange of experiences among representatives of different UBC cities. The development strategy of Gdańsk encourages seeking new solutions and implementing adaptive measures to make public spaces more green, inclusive and accessible. At the joint seminar, we will get to plan such spaces together – as a group of sustainability experts, city planners, and architects.

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Sustainable Urban Mobility Indicator online workshop on Thursday, 5 September 2024, from 9:00 to 11:30 CEST (10:00 to 12:30 EEST).
Indicators are essential for monitoring the implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and providing valuable data to cities and stakeholders on the progress and success of implemented measures.

The Urban Future conference week is held in Rotterdam, Netherlands on June 5-7, 2024. It brings together activists and influencers who represent different areas like mobility, energy, real estate, public transport, housing, urban planning, tech and public administration. The event creates a platform for sharing information on what has worked and what mistakes to avoid when it comes to sustainability. Participants have an opportunity to learn from different fields and they get to bring something new about sustainability back to their own cities.
