The indicator workshop will provide insights into how cities in the Baltic Sea Region are doing the monitoring of SUMPs.

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Sustainable Urban Mobility Indicator online workshop on Thursday, 5 September 2024, from 9:00 to 11:30 CEST (10:00 to 12:30 EEST).

Indicators are essential for monitoring the implementation of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and providing valuable data to cities and stakeholders on the progress and success of implemented measures.

We warmly welcome cities from the Baltic Sea Region to join this workshop to learn more about the tools to be developed in SUMPs for BSR project and to be involved in discussions about the current state of monitoring and evaluation practices, choice of indicators, and the challenges associated with this.

The indicator workshop will give participants insights into how other cities are doing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of their SUMPs, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, and learning from fellow cities. Additionally, the discussions will contribute to the development of the M&E framework, which will be tested and validated during the second year of the SUMPs for BSR project.

The workshop will be led by Marcin Wołek and Aleksander Jagiełło from the Department of Transport Market at the University of Gdansk, with support from the Union of the Baltic Cities Sustainable Cities Commission and the Institute of Baltic Studies.

To ensure fruitful discussions, the number of participants is limited: register to this workshop before 31 August!

We look forward to your participation in this important workshop as we work together to advance sustainable urban mobility in the Baltic Sea Region.
