The report on key figure data for sludge benchmark focuses on evaluating efficiency of sludge treatment in the wastewater treatment sector of the Baltic Sea Region.
Created in a framework of the IWAMA project, the report was based on a questionnaire about specific data that was sent out to the municipal wastewater treatment plants in the area. A total of 66 high-quality answers were collected from the region, which became the basis for a comparative benchmark about both the general inflow parameters and overall sludge treatment situation. The answers were collected from Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus and Germany.
