UBC Sustainable Cities Commission launched a digital educational kit for local authorities to deepen the understanding of plastic pollution consequences and prevention methods!

The Plastic Waste Management Platform is launched, and you can now register and explore its interactive content!

This platform builds on the knowledge and experiences accumulated throughout the BALTIPLAST project and is designed to equip local authorities, schools, businesses, and households with practical tools and resources for reducing plastic waste. The BALTIPLAST Educational Kit was developed specifically for experts in municipalities and public service providers. It is now available on the platform to provide support in reducing single-use plastic and improving plastic waste management.

Our interactive educational kit offers attractive case studies from cities, training videos, and other user-friendly materials tailored to different needs to help local actors take meaningful steps toward a circular and plastic-free future.

To spread the word about our Plastic Waste Management Platform and increase the understanding of plastic pollution challenges and effective solutions, in June we launched three training events, which educated approximately 70 experts in sustainability, circular economy and climate.
