Cultures of Sustainability in Baltic Cities (Sustainable Safe Cultural Events)

A joint meeting of the UBC Commissions on “Cultures of Sustainability in the Baltic cities” will be held in the cities of Słupsk and Ustka (Poland), 15th - 17th June 2016.  Organizers of the joint meeting are UBC Sustainable Cities Commission, UBC Safe Cities Commission and UBC Cultural Cities Commission. Organizing large scale public events (e.g. festivals, concerts) presents cities often with many challenges (permits, safety, environmental concerns etc.).  Join your fellow UBC member cities at the joint meeting in order to find good solutions to the event management issues and to develop common good practice guidelines for organizing cultural events that are both safe and sustainable!

PS! There is plenty of time booked for networking, discussion and dissemination in order to strengthen the co-operation between our member cities in the Baltic Sea Region.
