Project platforms of Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme aim to structure and disseminate outcomes from various projects to create even more innovative, sustainable, and interconnected Baltic Sea region, fostering synergies, enhancing knowledge transfer, and amplifying policy impacts. With this role, project platforms not only maximise the impact of individual projects but also contribute to shaping policies and strategies at regional and EU levels.
UBC Sustainable Cities Secretariat is on board!
The Interreg BSR Monitoring Committee has recently approved eight project platforms for funding. UBC Sustainable Cities Commission is actively involved in three of these, each carefully aligned with our commitment to addressing critical regional challenges:
- BSR Urban Mobility – Enhancing active and efficient urban mobility in the Baltic Sea region. UBC SCC is the Lead partner of this platform.
- HAZGONE – Connecting up- and downstream measures for better hazardous substances governance and policy in the Baltic Sea Region. UBC SCC is the leader of capacity building activities and dissemination of the results in the region.
- EnTRA – Energy Transition for Climate Neutrality in the BSR. UBC SCC supports the dissemination and uptake of the involved projects’ results.
Over the next three years, these strategic project platforms will create plenty of opportunities for the variety of stakeholders, especially local authorities, to get involved.
