Webinar: UBC TALKS about water as a resource in a climate-resilient city

The webinar on 25 May 2021 focused on strengthening urban resilience in relation to the water management. Ensuring that the city is adapted to the climate change consequences is crucial, and it's also important to ensure the efficiency of the water sector in the city.

Barbara Anton from ICLEI started the webinar talking about managing water sustainability to strengthen urban resilience. Next, Floris Boogaard from Hanze University of Applied Sciences presented about promoting green and blue spaces in urban areas. Pekka Parkkila from Southwest Finland Centre for Economic Development talked about natural flood risk management solutions on the Baltic Sea region. The webinar was closed by Ivar Annus from Tallinn University of Technology with a presentation about NOAH project results and preparing for extreme weather events.
