Welcome to the webinar "Climate-neutral and resource-efficient water sector" on 18 February 2021 at 9.00–10.45 CET! The event is organized by the BSR WATER platform.

The event will open with a keynote on transitioning to climate smart cities from Corinne Trommsdorff, CEO & Founder of the Water Cities.

A set of inspiring presentations will focus on the ways to apply integrated management and cross-sectoral cooperation to ensure holistic approach in cities’ water management practices. You will hear about policy recommendations for sustainable stormwater management based on the experiences and achievements of BSR cities, and the opportunities of the Water-Sludge-Energy nexus as a step towards circular economy principles. The meeting will also look at the practical side of the resource-efficient water management, bringing examples of energy-positive wastewater treatment plant from Turku and solutions for efficient management of industrial wastewaters.
