UBC SCC Secretariat has prepared the first Annual report summarising the activities of the Commission throughout the year 2022. It is the first report of its kind and will be further used to follow on the progress of the implementation of the UBC Sustainability Action Programme 2022–2030.

One of the key outputs of BSR WATER platform is the "Regional palette of solutions to recycle nutrients and other valuable components" (PDF document is available on HELCOM website). It was published as a HELCOM document, and it was developed in cooperation with the University of Tartu. BSR WATER platform is funded by the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 2014–2020.

The publication "Regional and national policy recommendations for implementing the integrated stormwater management in the Baltic Sea Region" was developed within the platform project BSR WATER. The report is prepared by the project partner Riga City Council, on the basis of surveys and interviews with 25 cities of the Baltic Sea Region and with support from BSR WATER partners.

At the UBC TALKS webinar on 24 November 2020 "Ensuring water safety from hazardous substances" we talked about ways to improve addressing hazardous substances in the wastewater treatment process, how to tackle industrial discharges into the municipal wastewater treatment line, and discussed best ways to raise awareness of citizens regarding their role in this cycle.
