We assist local authorities in the Baltic Sea Region in initiating, applying and managing projects on different sustainability topics. The themes and actions are tailor-made based on the needs of the project partners from local authorities to assist the ongoing processes towards sustainable development. Climate-4-CAST
A Climate Action decision Support Tool to accelerate cities' progress towards climate neutrality

Climate-4-CAST aims to assist local public authorities in their climate neutrality and integration of climate actions into urban governance processes. The project accelerates cities' climate actions and improves policy implementation for climate neutrality by equipping local public administrators with an open source decision support tool that helps visualize individual measures' emmissions impacts and cost-benefit analysis of the measures' performance against city goals.

SUMPs for BSR
Enhancing effective Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning for supporting active mobility in BSR cities

SUMPs for BSR aims to support cities in sustainable urban mobility practices, focusing on healthy mobility modes for citizens whilst also reducing emmissions. The project will develop a framework for monitoring and evaluating urban mobility planning. This will provide crucial information for planning and decision making and also evaluate the performance of local mobility systems.

ChemClimCircle
Integrating criteria for chemicals, climate and circularity in procurement processes

ChemClimCircle combines the topics of chemicals, climate and circularity and will help municipalities to further develop their procurement strategy. The aim is to consider all three aspects already in the planning phase and to create an organisational structure that makes it possible to include more than just one sustainability goal in the procurement process.

UBC-CDP Cooperation

The cooperation between UBC and CDP started in the beginning of 2017 with a Memorandum of Understanding signed in the autumn of 2016. Since 2017, the Baltic Sea Region cities have become the forerunners in environmental reporting and in 2020 became the largest participating area in CDP reporting.
