Climate-4-CAST aims to assist local public authorities in their climate neutrality and integration of climate actions into urban governance processes. The project accelerates cities' climate actions and improves policy implementation for climate neutrality by equipping local public administrators with an open source decision support tool that helps visualize individual measures' emmissions impacts and cost-benefit analysis of the measures' performance against city goals.

SUMPs for BSR aims to support cities in sustainable urban mobility practices, focusing on healthy mobility modes for citizens whilst also reducing emmissions. The project will develop a framework for monitoring and evaluating urban mobility planning. This will provide crucial information for planning and decision making and also evaluate the performance of local mobility systems.

ChemClimCircle combines the topics of chemicals, climate and circularity and will help municipalities to further develop their procurement strategy. The aim is to consider all three aspects already in the planning phase and to create an organisational structure that makes it possible to include more than just one sustainability goal in the procurement process.

The cooperation between UBC and CDP started in the beginning of 2017 with a Memorandum of Understanding signed in the autumn of 2016. Since 2017, the Baltic Sea Region cities have become the forerunners in environmental reporting and in 2020 became the largest participating area in CDP reporting.

The cooperation between cities, NGOs and expert partners aims at developing and applying a low-threshold approach for environmentally friendly urban mobility, attractive and easy to adopt for follower cities. The project focuses on dense inner-city areas, offering good opportunities for sustainable mobility

CIVITAS SUMPs-Up promoted and supported a broad take-up of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) in European cities.

The goal of the project was to improve urban planning by developing and testing new integrated models for brownfield regeneration.

Solutions local, together - Nordic Conference on Sustainable Development in the Baltic Sea Region introduced sustainable practical solutions and inspired participants to use local solutions together with other stakeholders. It enabled the use of solutions in practice.
