We assist local authorities in the Baltic Sea Region in initiating, applying and managing projects on different sustainability topics. The themes and actions are tailor-made based on the needs of the project partners from local authorities to assist the ongoing processes towards sustainable development. CDP
UBC-CDP Cooperation

The cooperation between UBC and CDP started in the beginning of 2017 with a Memorandum of Understanding signed in the autumn of 2016. Since 2017, the Baltic Sea Region cities have become the forerunners in environmental reporting and in 2020 became the largest participating area in CDP reporting.

CASCADE aimed to improve the capacity to understand, assess, and treat current and future climate change related risks on the local level, focusing on the particular in Baltic Sea Region (BSR) conditions.

Urban Climate Change Adaptation in the Baltic Sea Region

The initiative Urban Climate Change Adaptation in the Baltic Sea Region was a one-year project providing opportunities for capacity building, training and applying the skills to existing situations in the adaptation to climate change in the cities of the region. The project focused on establishing connections between climate change and sustainable development of urban areas.
