Projects

We assist local authorities in the Baltic Sea Region in initiating, applying and managing projects on different sustainability topics. The themes and actions are tailor-made based on the needs of the project partners from local authorities to assist the ongoing processes towards sustainable development. Climate-4-CAST
A Climate Action decision Support Tool to accelerate cities' progress towards climate neutrality

Climate-4-CAST aims to assist local public authorities in their climate neutrality and integration of climate actions into urban governance processes. The project accelerates cities' climate actions and improves policy implementation for climate neutrality by equipping local public administrators with an open source decision support tool that helps visualize individual measures' emmissions impacts and cost-benefit analysis of the measures' performance against city goals.

CDP
UBC-CDP Cooperation

The cooperation between UBC and CDP started in the beginning of 2017 with a Memorandum of Understanding signed in the autumn of 2016. Since 2017, the Baltic Sea Region cities have become the forerunners in environmental reporting and in 2020 became the largest participating area in CDP reporting.
