Sustainable Cities Commission Advisory Board members Steffen Nozon and Guntars Ruskuls speaking at the BSR Mobility Summit 2020

The BSR Mobility Summit is a three-day online joint mobility conference is hosted by the Interreg BSR projects cities.multimodal, BSR electric and SUMBA. SCC Advisory Board member Steffen Nozon who is also representing the City of Rostock as a lead partner in the cities.multimodal project will give a presentation about multimodal mobility and its potential in making cities more sustainable. Guntars Ruskuls from the Riga City Development department and member of the SCC Advisory Board will give an introduction speech about Riga and the city’s mobility standpoint.

 

In addition to that many UBC cities are involved and will showcase some of their project activities. Jaanus Tamm from the City of Tartu will give a presentation of the city’s efforts in transport data modelling and Magdalena Szymànska from the City of Gdansk will speak about mobility management with schools and kindergartens. Last but not least, videos of the newly inaugurated mobility point in Riga and Kalmar's bicycle garage will be featured in the summit along with many other intriguing speeches and presentations.
