The UBC TALKS webinar on 26 May 2026 we discussed how to enable local communities and especially vulnerable groups to act in case of a crisis. Cities need to increase their climate resilience with adaptation measures that serve the whole society – but how to make sure that no one is overlooked in the process? Different methods to increasing citizen awareness and enabling citizens to take active part in the planning are tested by the cities of Skuodas (Lithuania), Lääne-Harju (Estonia) and Ustka (Poland). The piloting activities in these cities are part of the ClimaResponse project.
