In March, we invited all UBC cities to join the discussion on what are the best practices on environmental data disclosure to CDP. As the next reporting period is approaching fast, it is good to be prepared and ask fellow UBC cities who have been reporting since the beginning of UBC-CDP cooperation to share their experiences and tips on how to manage the deadlines, finding relevant data, getting political commitment and more.

INTRODUCING THE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: 

Cities of Lahti - the European Green Capital 2021! (Finland), Riga (Latvia) and Tartu (Estonia) gave keynote presentations about their cities' best practices and experiences with CDP reporting.

Also, Ms Catherine Higham, Regional Manager, EMEA, Cities, States and Regions from CDP gave a presentation into how to smoothly handle the disclosure process and what kind of changes CDP has made to the Cities Questionnaire compared to 2019's version (check out the document here)! 

After the keynotes, the Questions & Answers session offered all participants the opportunity to ask questions and discuss on what kind of common challenges there are regarding environmental data disclosure and how to overcome them!
