Integrated Urban Governance and Air Quality Management in Europe

INTEGAIRE

INTEGAIRE created a network that facilitated the identification of RTD gaps and future priorities in the field of urban air quality management and urban governance. The network also joined together air quality assessment, management and monitoring and developed tools for sustainable urban governance.

Targets groups of the project were municipal air quality professionals who are responsible for air quality assessment and management, the CAFE group of the European Commission and research communities. Recommendations for these target groups aimed at improving good practice at urban level, showing the usefulness of EU level measure on the urban level by suggesting solutions to local air pollution issues and solving future air quality problems by identifying research needs.
