'Building smart cities in the Baltic Sea Region' XIII UBC General Conference

We warmly invite all of you member cities to come and meet us at the XIII UBC General Conference from 27-30 October in Gdynia, Poland!

The General Conference this year is very important as we will adopt the new strategy and discuss future paths for our organization. As usually the General Assembly will elect the president, three vice-presidents, the executive board, board of audit, Secretariat and the auditor for the next period. All new commissions will present themselves and hopefully will have fruitful discussions and exchange with you member cities on your ideas and wishes for the next years.

Here you find more details, the agenda and registration link!

We, the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission, will be present at our own stand and of course during the whole conference, happy to discuss with you! We especially would like to invite you also to two of the parallel workshops on Thursday, 29th of October 10-12.30:
In workshop I “Smart and attractive UBC city” we´ll discuss the concept of a “smart city” and hear examples and presentations on different smart solutions in cities.
Workshop II on “Sustainable Urban Mobility” will be organized together with the city of Gdynia and the Baltic Sea Region Competence Centre on SUMP and includes interactive discussions on SUMPs and how we can support this process, monitoring of SUMPs as well as pedestrian spaces.

More details on the workshops will be available soon!

If you have any questions concerning the conference, the workshops or want to already “book” a meeting with us, do not hesitate to contact us!
