1. UBC Sustainable Cities Commission Contact List

Privacy Statement: Personal Data Act (523/99 FINLEX):
The objectives of the Act are to implement, in the processing of personal data, the protection of private life and the other basic rights which safeguard the right to privacy, as well as to promote the development of and compliance with good processing practice.

1.1. UBC Sustainable Cities Commission Contact List

The contact list includes the member cities-nominated Contact Persons of the UBC and UBC Sustainable Cities Commission.

The register is hosted by the Secretariat of the Union of the Baltic Cities Sustainable Cities Commission (address: Vanha Suurtori 7, FIN-20500 TURKU, Finland). The purpose of the register is to promote, disseminate and communicate information regarding the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission's activities, events and projects and to facilitate cooperation and networking among the member cities.

1.2. UBC Sustainable Cities Commission: Newsletter and Sustainable Cities Bulletin

The contact list includes the member cities-nominated Contact Persons of the UBC and UBC Sustainable Cities Commission, as well as any subscribed stakeholders, both from the member cities and external.

We use MailChimp as our marketing platform, which has its privacy practices described on own website. The purpose of the register on MailChimp is to promote, disseminate and communicate information regarding the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission's activities, events and projects and to facilitate cooperation and networking among the member cities and external stakeholders.

2. What personal information do we collect, for what purpose and through what technical means?

The data of the register is based on the information provided by the member cities and/or subscribers. The personal details of the register are kept confidential.

The personal data collected can include: name, surname, organization, position, city and country, email, phone number.

Other data

Other data collected at the events or through Commission activities can include: photographs, still images, presentations, live web streaming and/or audio and video recording, screenshots from online events. This data can be published in the context of promotion and/or communication of UBC-related activities on the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission's website, social media channels, newsletters or in the Sustainable Cities Bulletin.

5. How can you verify, modify or delete your information?

In case you want to verify which personal data is stored on your behalf by the responsible controller, have it modified, corrected or deleted, please contact sustainability@ubc.net. The subscribers have right to unsubscribe from the register. The data provider has the right to check the information that she/he has sent and to claim for incorrect information correction.

6. How long do we keep your data?

Your personal data will be part of the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission's Contact List and will be stored for the time being for the above-mentioned purposes. The subscribers have right to unsubscribe from the contact list.
