As every year in the autumn the CIVITAS community gathered for the annual CIVITAS Forum to exchange and learn about sustainable mobility and meet colleagues from all over Europe! This year, forum's almost 500 participants met in Torres Vedras, Portugal.

Three days of workshop sessions, discussions and site visits offered a great insight in how European cities are working and how they enhance sustainable mobility concretely on the local level. As UBC is currently involved in two CIVITAS projects, CIVITAS ECCENTRIC and CIVITAS SUMPs-Up, we were of course also there!

CIVITAS ECCENTRIC was very well represented in numerous working sessions and workshops on topics from equity and accessibility to Mobility as a Service (MaaS).

SUMPs-Up organized the first mobility practitioner’s workshop in the framework of the Forum and presented highlights from the newly launched CIVITAS Tool Inventory.

You find all materials of the forum on the CIVITAS website.

In the end of the Forum the next years´ host was revealed and we at UBC are very excited that the CIVITAS Forum 2018 will be held in our partner city Umeå in Sweden!

Hope to see you all there!
