We are delighted to announce that our collaboration with CDP has reached its third year! Last year, we increased the number of UBC cities reporting to CDP from 20 to 28 - this year, we hope to raise that number even more and to help cities to answer the questionnaire with more detail to help our member cities receive maximum benefits from the benchmarking and scoring systems of CDP.

Save the dates - Timeline for 2019 disclosure:

The CDP online reporting platform will launch for the 2019 cycle in mid-Aprilyou will be notified on the exact day by email. This personalised email will contain the activation link to your city’s questionnaire. The deadline for submission will be 10 July 2019. Please submit before this deadline to ensure that your city’s report receives a score for 2019.

CDP and ICLEI partner to present one unified process for subnational climate action reporting:

By streamlining ICLEI’s carbonn Climate Registry (cCR) and CDP’s reporting platform, our goal is to make climate reporting faster and easier. Beginning in April 2019, local and regional governments will just need to report once on CDP’s platform and publicly reported data will automatically be shared with ICLEI. Both organizations will continue supporting the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCoM), the largest global coalition of cities committed to climate leadership.

Improved functionality:

If you submitted a response to the 2018 questionnaire, your answers will be auto-populated into your 2019 questionnaire where applicableThis means you can simply review the auto-populated answers for accuracy and make updates with any new information or improvements identified as part of 2018 scoring feedback.
