The webinar on 28 September 2021 explored the steps that UBC member cities haven taken towards circular economy. Examples and approaches to circular transition were presented by member cities.
The webinar was started by Per-Arne Nilsson from the City of Malmö talking about working together towards resource efficiency. Satu Virtanen from the City of Lahti continued talking about Lahti putting circular economy into practice. Next, Ieva Kalniņa from the City of Riga presented about circular construction in Riga. Niina Ruuska from the City of Turku ended the webinar presenting about kick starting the circular economy transition in Turku.
