Webinar: UBC TALKS about marine litter campaigns
Marine litter campaigns: good practices in UBC cities
Marine litter is one of the most prominent challenges when it comes to the living and recreational coastal areas, be it coast of the Baltic Sea or shore of a lake or a river. Campaigns to address the problem of marine litter are a great way to bring attention to this issue, raise awareness of citizens and boost citizen involvement in the local sustainability actions. Campaigns like these can also benefit international cooperation through supporting transboundary organizations with local information and data.
UBC TALKS: The series of webinars for 2020 start on 21 January for cities to discuss and prepare for the spring activities on the coasts and beaches. Let's share experiences and find out how to organize a perfect engaging campaign for your citizens, in the meantime supporting the HELCOM Regional Action Plan on Marine Litter.
Tune in on 21 January 2020 at 09.30–11.00 CET!
