Let's make our cities better than ever! The CIVITAS Forum 2015 is around the corner, and will open its doors from October 7-9 in Ljubljana, the enchanting capital of Slovenia. This lovely historic metropolis represents the perfect backdrop for the Forum, especially since this year's theme is 'Sharing the City'.

In this context, the CIVITAS Forum is advancing sustainable urban transport as the backbone of an accessible, livable city with a high standard of living. Expect a valuable and very interesting set of topics and discussions during this 3-day Forum, ranging from the latest trends in urban mobility to EU funding opportunities in the field.

Day 1 envisages discussions on subjects such as bike-sharing, multimodality and travel planning, as well as best practices from the CIVINET national networks and open data to improve mobility. Day 2 offers two different sets of parallel sessions, touching on topics such as E-busses, designing urban mobility infrastructure, mobility management, and alternative fuels. Last but not least, Day 3 brings pivotal insight on urban mobility for the next generation, company mobility management, and mobility solutions for a more inclusive city.

Several networking events and dinners are meant to spice up the conference, while on-site workshops and site visits will unveil the best that Ljubljana has to offer. The site visits include an interesting walk through pedestrianised Ljubljana, an architectural cycling tour, and a leisurely look at the city's transport system.
