The XIX International Environmental Forum "Baltic Sea Day" is organized on 22–23 March 2018 in St. Petersburg, Russia, to bring up global and regional environmental matters. The agenda of the Forum is focused on the Baltic Sea environment and regional activities, particularly, involvement of municipalities and ensuring environmental safety in the region. In parallel to this Forum, the exhibition "Ecology in the Big City" will be held in the same evnue: the convention and exhibition centre "Expoforum".

The Forum "Baltic Sea Day" is organized and supported by HELCOM, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, and the Government of St. Petersburg.

During the Forum, the UBC Sustainable Cities Commission will present its excellence in engaging positive change in municipalities during the roundtable "Role of municipalities in implementation of the HELCOM BSAP — Local BSAP". Moreover, the largest water-focused projects we are working with — IWAMA and iWater — will be introduced throughout the roundtable "Sustainable Water Management to protect the marine environment from land-based pollution".
